Ghana 8

One of the classes that I participated with.  These were the advanced nursing students.  I looooooooved teaching and learning with this class.  They were absolutely eager to learn!  Despite the heat, and humidity, I found my
self in MY ELEMENT while in class with these students.

Some individuals in our group fudraised and  gathered parts to put together about 50 bikess that were given to particular nursing students who would benefit from them.  The students were part of the school where we taught classes and performed research.

So, so wondeful to attend the temple! I was able to go a couple times.  It was wonderful as always, so sit in peace inside the temple.
 to

Frog legs.

Goat parts.  I'll just leave it at that.  Why people eat goat testicles is beyond me.  Why they are sold on a stick at soccer games is even more confusing.  To each his own I suppose.

The glow sticks were a hit with these you men!

What an experience.  This face expresses a sadness for leaving, an exhastion from all the work, and readiness to be back with my hubby.

Dancing to the drums around the fire was one of the most memorable and joyful momments of Ghana for me.

Teaching kids to brush their teeth.
