Our first baby(ies)! (Summer 2011)

Now, now, we obviously didn't have A baby, but we have successfully nurtured and cared for baby spinach and two (yes, only two) peas. Also in the works right now are tomatoes and squash. We are so happy and proud of our first babies!

our Staycation (July 2011)

For part of father's day weekend, Scotty and I hiked and camped. First I gave Scotty a "pre-father's" day gift. I gave him a hammock for (what I said can be) preparation to sit with the little ones and read to them. Can you see how happy he is about it :)
We also went hiking to a water fall about 5 minutes from our place (we love Ogden). We then went caping in Huntsville where we hope to live some day. Did I mention we love the area so much! We camped on a Saturday and decided that we wanted to spend time on Sunday taking a drive around the valley so rather than driving back home (a WHOLE 20 MINUTES away) to attend our church congregation we would go to the local congregation in Huntsville instead. So we did and when the Sunday school teacher asked for us to tell them our names and where we were visiting from, we got a big laugh from everyone when we told them we were visiting ALL THE WAY from Ogden! ehehee We actually ended up running into some friends of my family when we lived in California; the Tanner family. It sure was great to seem them.  Their second to youngest, who was maybe only 2-3 yers old was now passing the sacrament (whcih a young man must be at least 12 to do.) Boy time flies! The second to last picture is one of Huntsville, isn't it beautiful?! We hope to have a Larsen compund there one day. :)
