Everyone seemd to carry things this

I don't think I have ever done clinical work in such circumtances. Even when I was in Peru, being inside in the shade made the heat less intense. But the work needed to be done and despite the humid conditions, it was a very rewarding experince.

favorite! We attended this concert because th ewoman singing here is the mother of one of the friends of our professor here in Ghana.

The mangoes were amazing!!! They were HUGE and super sweet! I tried getting some any time I could!


We drove for about 2 hours in hopes to find elephants. Finally about 20 minutes before getting home, we saw some. They were massive and absolutely beautiful!

They love Obama!

The sting beads around children's waistes are used to meassure their weight. If they get too loose it indicates weight loss, and vise versa.

Muslim temple.

Birth marks created by parents on child's belly and face. They are tribal marks that are redone at around age 8 for permanence.

Fufu: A very interesting soup that is eaten with your hands. That's right, no spoon. Hence the hand sanitizer and bowl of water next to it.

We had Ana and John over for dinner last week. Those two are a riot! We stayed up playing Phase 10 and laughed all night! What a blessing it is to have family close by.
